New Logistics Development Thought of China Capital Logistics in the New Era

On December 23, the "China Automotive Logistics Annual Conference 2021" organized by the China Automotive Logistics Association of CFLP was grandly held in Changchun. The conference gathered many related upstream and downstream enterprises from the automobile industry, such as automobile manufacturers, auto parts suppliers, second-hand cars e-commerce platforms, automotive logistics companies, IT companies, supply chain management consulting companies and logistics equipment and technology companies. As a representative of the automotive logistics companies, China Capital Logistics Co., Ltd. (“China Capital”) was invited to attend the conference. Wu Jing, Director of Vehicle Logistics Management Center of China Capital Logistics, attended the conference and delivered a keynote speech, deeply analyzing the environment faced by automobile logistics people and coping thought in the new era.

A Changing Era
Wu Jing said, “This is an era when the past can be totally changed overnight”.
The development of Internet technology has promoted business innovation based on cyberspace and laid a solid foundation for the development of the digital economy. We have gradually become accustomed to online shopping and even online customization. However, we do not stop there. When the Internet technology is extended from people to things and then to the Internet of Things, we have to face a new stage of development of the Internet of Everything. The Internet of Everything not only brings us greater imagination space, but also practically changes our understanding of things. The vehicle which we are all very familiar with may no longer be just a means of transportation, but an interface for the interconnection of all things.
The proposal of the "peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality" goal (dual-carbon goal) once again paved the way for the next revolution. The dual-carbon goal is not merely an issue of energy, climate and environment, but a wide-ranging and complex economic and social issue, which will force the industrial manufacturing industry to transform and upgrade to a green and low-carbon approach. Automobile manufacturing, transportation industry and carbon emissions are inherently related. In the future, the automobile industry will be committed to developing cleaner and more environmentally friendly automobile products.
Undoubtedly, the Internet of Everything + dual-carbon goal will bring us into a new era. In this era, automobile manufacturing, automobile sales, or automobile use will be profoundly affected.

Evolution of Service Capability
Nowadays, the climate rather than the weather has changed in the environment. The transformation of the automobile industry is a comprehensive transformation from the most basic part of the industry rather than a simple linear superposition of product upgrading. In the face of "climate" changes, the fittest survives. Only by adapting to the new environment can we have a survival and development space.
Wu Jing proposed that in a changing environment, the only constant concept is customer orientation. Customer demand is the core of China Capital Logistics' focus. Under the influence of consumption patterns in the new era, customers in the logistics industry have become more and more sensitive to the improvement of service quality, the satisfaction of individual needs, and the perception of differentiated services. We are required to stand in the customer's position, and check whether our service capabilities can match the needs of customers in a longer service chain with a standard higher than the customers’ requirements.
The establishment of service capability is a comprehensive evolution from thinking to execution. From product design to implementation, China Capital Logistics not only creates products based on customers’ needs, but also uses digital technology to upgrade services and establish a service concept for the full life cycle of products. Through digital transformation and upgrading of the management dimension, we strengthen the management and control capability of long chain and multiple products, and truly build a service format of "product + full life cycle service".

Keeping up with the Times
China Capital Logistics is not a team that keeps ideas on paper. For future development, China Capital Logistics already has a clear idea and has implemented the idea into action.
In 2021, China Capital Logistics has clarified the four new strategies: "new products, new capabilities, new platforms and new goals" and has adhered to the strategies firmly. In terms of new products, China Capital Logistics has initially planned the pre-production, production and post-production whole supply chain links targeted to the automobile industry, and extended to the new product matrix of pan-automotive ecological service and production; in terms of new capabilities, based on the existing soft and hard strength, through the decomposition of the core elements of the supply chain, identification of key influencing factors and other methods, finally a supply chain model is established and a replicable supply chain management capability is created; our target customer groups include the B-end and C-end customer groups, extending to include the whole automotive supply chain; for the new goals, China Capital Logistics clearly focuses on practicality, opens up the informationization of all links, and realizes the integration of fragmented information through data connection and accumulation in order to support the visualization of the whole scene, remote collaboration, and real-time perception and service sharing at the delivery end.
