On March 30, Zhang Xiyong, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of BAIC Group, led a delegation to visit China Capital Logistics to conduct a special investigation. Jiang Zili, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Deputy General Manager of the group, Chen Hongliang, the General Manager Assistant, Li Bing, the Director of the Strategic Planning Department, and members of the relevant teams of BAIC ROCAR, BAIC Foton and China Capital Logistics participated in the study symposium.
The delegation firstly visited China Capital Xinghui MR project team and the autostereoscopic warehouse for on-the-spot investigation and survey, and listened to relevant work reports.
At the meeting, Zhu Liguang, the Deputy General Manager of BAIC ROCAR, Chairman and General Manager of China Capital Logistics, made a presentation on the "good start" in the first quarter, the implementation of operation and key projects, market-oriented business development, innovation work and the development plan for the next three years.
Aiming at the operating target for the first quarter of 2022, China Capital Logistics adhered to overcome the impact on the supply assurance caused by factors such as repeated pandemic outbreak, lack of chips, abnormal weather and temporary control with the attitude of "being tough", ensuring the smooth progress of logistics guarantee for various brands in the first quarter and boosting BAIC Group and BAIC ROCAR to make the remarkable business achievements in the first quarter. Meanwhile, China Capital Logistics went all out to overcome the difficulties and made the remarkable business achievements in the first quarter through measures such as stabilizing the existing operating business and vigorously expanding the business outside the group. For the next work plan, China Logistics will take the overall keynote of seeking progress while maintaining stability and seeking quality while making progress and will vigorously develop market-oriented business while ensuring the group assurance, based on strengthening market-oriented key capabilities and establishing a market-oriented development mechanism.
The delegation highly affirmed the efforts and achievements of China Capital Logistics in promoting high-quality development, stabilizing production, ensuring customer supply as the priority, market expansion, self-pressurizing courage and striving to be a benchmark for reform, and expressed its recognition for BAIC ROCAR and China Capital Logistics in digital, intelligent management and the promotion of paperless office. In addition, the delegation mentioned that China Capital Logistics should adhere to mobilize the staff’s vitality, enhance competitiveness and should stick to a development way that met the requirements of the group and the development requirements of the enterprise itself; should take the lead to grasp opportunities, conduct the market survey and expand business in an all-round way; should cope with the impact of external environment, improve warehousing capacity through coordination and "calculate large accounts and small accounts together".
The delegation pointed out that China Capital Logistics should continue to carry forward its excellent work style in 2022 and the following work to ensure that more than half of the annual tasks would be completed in the second quarter; China Capital Logistics should continue to strengthen production logistics to stabilize production and supply, and attach great importance to the production guarantee for various brands of the group; should continue to promote market-oriented development tasks and embrace new challenges.
The delegation emphasized that the relevant departments of the group should make an inventory of the logistics business in the system. As a professional logistics service enterprise of the group, China Capital Logistics shall clarify the next-step objectives and realize the optimization of the logistics business; strengthen the multimodal transport of railway and waterway, actively respond to the national “peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality” policy and deeply implement the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and fulfill the social responsibility of state-owned enterprise; cooperate with associated companies to jointly promote projects related to new energy commercial vehicles; further emancipate the mind and promote the marketized orientation of performance assessment to stimulate the entrepreneurial vitality of talents and managers.
