Chen Lin reviewed the evolution of automobile parts logistics from Era 1.0 to Era 4.0. From the mechanization in Era 1.0, informatization and the automation of local nodes in Era 2.0, intelligent attempt to connect the industrial chain in Era 3.0 to Era 4.0 symbolized by digitization and intelligence, automobile parts logistics has undergone considerable development.
In the "China Smart Logistics 2025" report released by China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, an outlook on the future development framework of smart logistics is also provided:
At the first stage, intelligent operations will be realized through intelligent equipment; at the second stage, digital operations will be realized through intelligent algorithms; and at the third stage, the deeply collaborated platform-oriented development based on the supply chain will be conducted.
For the evolution path of parts logistics commonly recognized in the industry or the prediction on the future development trend of parts logistics by professional institutions, a development core- digitization is clarified. The purpose of digitization is prediction, but to enjoy the expected guidance brought by digitization, the link of the physical world shall be realized first of all.
Chen Lin holds that, in the development process of automobile parts logistics from 1.0 to 4.0, the focus of automobile parts logistics enterprises has continued to extend from the automobile production main engine plants to the upstream parts suppliers of the supply chain.
