On August 15, the National Automobile Parts Logistics Conference 2022 was held in Yantai with the theme of "Gathering Intelligence and Linking the Future". The attendees exchanged views on the overall status and development trend of China's automobile industry, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by automobile parts logistics in this general environment. The public data indicates that the market penetration rate of new energy vehicles in a single month reached 30% in April 2022. Based on the cumulative sales from January to July, the annual sales of new energy vehicles will exceed 5 million, which has become the consensus of the entire industry. Chen Lin compared the rise of new energy vehicles with the traditional fuel vehicle market. From the macro trend of the development of the entire Chinese automobile industry, the growth trajectory of new energy vehicles today is strikingly similar to the explosive growth of the traditional fuel vehicle market from 2000 to 2010. When China's traditional fuel vehicles entered a turbulent downward trend in 2015, new energy vehicles became a new driving force for the development of the domestic automobile industry, boosting market confidence and providing a strong support for the good development of China's automobile market.
There are many differences between the new energy automobile industry and the traditional automobile industry: Firstly, the battery is the core part of the new energy. For the logistics of automobile parts, the logistics service of battery parts is a new topic. Batteries are dangerous goods. To ensure the safety of battery transportation and storage services, logistics service enterprises need to establish professional service teams and standardized high-standard operation requirements. Meanwhile, the logistics service chain brought by battery components are also extended to the recycling link, and the emergence of new service nodes pose a new test for automobile logistics enterprises; secondly, customization is another feature of new energy vehicles. Customization means that production logistics will also encounter multiple types and classifications even if facing the same component. This is not a simple increase in workload, but puts forward higher requirements for the response speed, operational flexibility and planning professionalism of production logistics, requiring more personalized and flexible logistics services; Finally, the traditional 4S store sales model has been broken through for new energy vehicles and new sales channels such as networks and direct stores have been established. With the change of sales channels, the logistics service chain has also been extended to C-end users. The service covers the whole life cycle of new energy automobile products. After-sales logistics has increasing demand for reverse logistics. Based on the demand change of the whole new energy automobile industry chain, to integrate into the new energy automobile supply chain, automobile logistics enterprises need to constantly make improvement from the dimensions of cost control, standardized operation and systematic construction, etc., to form the matching capability.
Although the new energy vehicle market is developing rapidly, the enterprises on the market are growing differently. Chen Lin proposed that, with the development of the new energy automobile market, the automobile logistics industry has entered a new stage simultaneously. For ensuring the safety and stability of the parts supply chain or boosting the costs reduction and efficiency enhancement of the whole chain, it is essential to form a penetrating understanding for the whole market supply chain, and more importantly, to form a standardized collaborative awareness of the whole supply chain upstream and downstream, Only in this way can every enterprise in the supply chain be guaranteed to obtain reasonable profits and form an industrial chain environment with sound growth.
