Supporting Wuhan: China Capital Logistics Urgently Delivered Ambulances to Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital!

No one is born a hero!

Someone has to make more efforts when someone else is in urgent need.

When China Capital Logistics was supporting its associate organizations on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, someone said, "Is there a mission to Wuhan? I’m willing to take the mission! 9 days later, China Capital Logistics fulfilled this "solemn promise".

Emergency Telephone

At 21:17 on the evening of February 5, China Capital Logistics received a message from Fujian Benz. The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology issued a notice requesting that two negative pressure ambulances should be transported separately from the conversion plant authorized by Fujian Benz in Beijing to Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital in Wuhan respectively. Fujian Benz asked whether China Capital Logistics could assist in the delivery.

“China Capital Logistics must be active at this moment!” The party and government leaders of China Capital Logistics attached great importance to it, and instructed Jiao Zhenzhen-the Deputy General Manager, Li Shuming- the General Manager Assistant and General Manager of China Capital Zhuzhou and Wang Shuqiang- the General Manager of China Capital Xingda to immediately organize the telephone conference to implement the shipment preparation work. Meanwhile, China Capital Logistics established a logistics preparation team for materials needed for the trip and prepared thermometers, masks, protective clothing, goggles, disinfectant and solid food, etc. with the labor union for this trip.

Because of the urgent task and the heavy responsibility, everyone has only one belief in mind: Sending the ambulances to the front line as soon as possible at all costs! This is the best embodiment of the speed and quality of China Capital Logistics. After full consideration, a six-space special carrier for commercial vehicles was selected; Liu Bao, who has years of experience in driving and serves as Xingda fleet captain was selected as the driver.

It was already around 11 o'clock p.m. Liu Bao, who had just led the team to perform two support missions the day before, returned to Wuqing, Tianjin, was about to sleep. He heard his mobile phone ring and immediately answered the phone.

“Now, there is a new mission!”

“OK! Mr. Wang. Right now?”

“No, tomorrow monitoring. You drive a six-space carrier to Miyun.”

“OK. The destination?”

“Wuhan! Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital.”

“Got it! I’ll set out early tomorrow morning!”

After hanging up, Liu Bao was a little dazed. As an experienced driver, he performed the task calmly and confidently. His only worry was that this task was different from previous two. Commercial vehicles were delivered previously. However, this task was to deliver ambulances to the center of the pandemic region. He wondered whether he should tell his families.

On the one hand, it was a mission of great significance and glory; on the other hand, it was the worry of the families. Liu Bao thought for a while and decided: "You can tell a lie. If you tell them, they will be also worried. It’s good that your families are in your hometown." In order not to affect the next day's work, Liu Bao immediately went to bed to have a good sleep for the fighting tomorrow.

Snowflakes fluttered about on the morning of February 6. The windows were covered in silvery white snow. The snow increased the difficulty for this mission.

At 7 o'clock in the morning, just after dawn, Liu Bao had already driven a carrier to Miyun, Beijing. Due to heavy snow, the Beijing-Tianjin Highway was closed until 12 o'clock at noon. After several coordinations between BAIC Group and the transportation authority, he drove onto the Beijing-Shanghai Highway.

Liu Bao has been driving to Wuhan for many times, which gave him a deep impression. However, Liu Bao thought, in the special period, it was uncertain whether the route was smooth in the whole process.

Meanwhile, the relevant person in charge of China Cpaital Logistics of Beijing also went to Miyun to coordinate related matters. Wang Shuqiang originally intended to go to the pandemic area with the truck, but immediately faced a full resumption of work. There were too many things at hand. Finally, he gave up the thought.

At 3:30 p.m., Liu Bao arrived at the refitting plant authorized by Fujian Benz in Miyun.

"Work will be fully resumed soon. Shuqiang needs to stay in Beijing to preside over the work. This mission is up to you. You have to take personal protection. You know, that is the prerequisite for you to complete your work." The company leader told Liu Bao.

At 8 o'clock p.m., Liu Bao drove the vehicle to the Headquarters of China Capital Logistics and conducted a final inspection of the vehicle. He grabbed a meal before departure.

At 8:30 p.m., a carrier loaded with two negative pressure ambulances was drove out of the courtyard of China Capital Logistics. Under the vision of everyone, it disappeared steadily into the certain of night.

On the truck head, the words “China Capital Logistics” were striking under the streetlight.

When this draft is released, Liu Bao is still on the way. Everything goes well!
